Jen Ng: Co-Chair of Morgan Stanley's Pride and Ally Network

As the newest Co-Chair of the firm’s Pride and Ally Network, Jen Ng aims to build on the group’s legacy of advocacy and inclusion. Ng, who joined Morgan Stanley in 2015, became Co-Chair after serving under her mentor, Jacqueline LiCalzi, who spearheaded the firm’s support for the Supreme Court’s marriage equality amicus brief.

Ng also emphasizes the importance of intersectionality, supporting members of the community who face overlapping challenges and amplifying the voices of less visible groups, such as transgender and non-binary individuals.

Outside of her role, Ng has shown commitment to giving back to the community. In 2019, she joined the New York State Guard, where she managed medical supplies for various state-assisted sites during the pandemic. Her experiences highlight her dedication to both professional and community service.

Ng’s journey at Morgan Stanley began with a desire to find a workplace that embraced her identity. She recalls her first day, noting the firm’s Pride and Ally Network as a significant factor in her decision to join. Since then, she has worked to ensure that the network continues to drive meaningful change and support its members.
