Leadership Recognized: Professorships in Pediatric Oncology – Dana-Farber Cancer Institute
The David G. Nathan Professorship in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School has been awarded to Kimberly Stegmaier, MD. This professorship is dedicated to honoring the institute's President Emeritus, David G. Nathan, MD.
Concurrently, Scott Armstrong, MD, PhD, has been appointed as the David G. Nathan Distinguished Professor of Pediatrics at Dana-Farber. Armstrong also holds the Ted Williams Chair, which was endowed in 1995 and previously held by Kimberly Stegmaier, MD.
The Ted Williams Chair was established by the .406 Club to support pediatric oncology and recognize the late Ted Williams' special connection to The Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber.
The appointments of Drs. Stegmaier and Armstrong to these endowed positions underscore their exceptional expertise, leadership, and dedication to advancing pediatric oncology.
