Leadership Program Assistant
for sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections if posting has real specific content.
We need to parse the job posting.
Content:
- Intro about University values, etc. That's "About the role"? Actually it's about the community, not role specifics. Could be "About the role" maybe includes description of role? The posting includes responsibilities list. There's no explicit "About the role" paragraph besides the intro about University values. Might be considered "About the role"? The instruction: use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). We should include sections only when posting has real specific content.
We have:
- Responsibilities: detailed list under "Responsibilities" heading.
- Minimum Education & Experience: that could be "Requirements" or "Qualifications". We'll treat as "Requirements" (minimum education/experience) and "Qualifications" maybe knowledge, skills, abilities.
- Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: that's "Skills" (or "Qualifications").
- Pay: compensation range given: $17.50 - $22.79. So we can include Pay section.
- Schedule: Not explicitly given; there is "Work Shift UR - Day (United States of America)" and "Scheduled Weekly Hours As Scheduled". Not specific hours. Might be considered schedule info but not specific. The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. Schedule: we have "Work Shift UR - Day" and "Scheduled Weekly Hours As Scheduled". That's vague. Might be considered schedule info but not specific hours. Probably we should not include Schedule because it's not specific (just "As Scheduled").
- Benefits: Not mentioned. So omit.
- About the role: Could include the introductory paragraph about University values and mission? That's more about the organization, not role. But we could treat as "About the role" summarizing the role purpose? The posting includes a paragraph under "Responsibilities" that starts with "The Leadership Program Assistant provides administrative and operational support..." That's more responsibilities. There's no separate "About the role". However we could include a brief description from the first paragraph: "As a community, the University of Rochester is defined by a deep commitment to Meliora - Ever Better..." That's about the university, not role. Might be considered "About the role"? Probably not. Safer to omit About the role if no specific role description.
But we need to include at least some sections. We have Responsibilities, Requirements (minimum education/experience), Qualifications/Skills (knowledge, skills, abilities), Pay.
We could combine Requirements and Qualifications into one? But instruction prefers few substantive sections over many thin ones. We could have:
- Responsibilities
- Requirements (includes education/experience)
- Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)
- Pay
That's four sections.
We need to use for each heading. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use
for prose.
We must preserve ALL substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. So we need to include all details from responsibilities, minimum education/experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, pay range.
We must remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The posting includes EEO statement at end; we must remove that. Also remove any duplicated lines.
We need to extract the responsibilities text exactly as given, but we can format as list items.
Responsibilities section includes a paragraph: "The Leadership Program Assistant provides administrative and operational support for the Medallion Leadership Program, Student Organization Leadership initiatives, and related leadership education programs. The position coordinates program logistics, maintains records and communications, supports events, and assists with participant tracking to ensure the efficient delivery of leadership programs. The assistant works closely with professional staff to support daily operations while allowing staff to focus on student learning, facilitation, advising, and assessment."
Then there is a list of Essential Functions with subheadings: Program Operations & Event Coordination, Communications & Marketing Support, Participant Records & Program Administration, Volunteer, Alumni & Facilitator Coordination, Purchasing & Recognition Logistics, Administrative Reporting & Office Support, Other duties as assigned.
We need to preserve all substantive information. So we can turn each bullet into
- items, maybe grouping under subheadings? But we only allowed
for section headings, not subheadings. Could we include ? Not allowed. So we should just make a flat list of duties, preserving the text. Could include the subheading text as part of each list item.
We need to avoid losing any detail. So we will create list items for each duty described.
Let's parse responsibilities:
Paragraph 1: "The Leadership Program Assistant provides administrative and operational support for the Medallion Leadership Program, Student Organization Leadership initiatives, and related leadership education programs. The position coordinates program logistics, maintains records and communications, supports events, and assists with participant tracking to ensure the efficient delivery of leadership programs. The assistant works closely with professional staff to support daily operations while allowing staff to focus on student learning, facilitation, advising, and assessment."
Then list:
- Program Operations & Event Coordination: Assists with c coordination of workshop logistics, creating CCC events, reserving spaces, scheduling meetings, preparing calendars, managing SignUpGenius registrations, sending facilitator reminders, coordinating room reservations, and supporting event setup and logistics for Medallion workshops, Student Organization Training, Leadership Appreciation Reception, Level Up events, and alumni programming.
Note there is a typo "c coordination". We must preserve as is.
- Communications & Marketing Support: Maintains website updates, creates and distributes newsletters, coordinates digital signage and posters, manages routine email communications, updates calendars, support social media scheduling, and promotes workshops, events, and leadership opportunities.
- Participant Records & Program Administration: Maintains participant databases, completion tracking, workshop attendance, award tracking, recognition orders, and program documentation. Processes routine forms and maintain accurate records across leadership programs.

- Administrative Reporting & Office Support: Prepares routine reports, maintain spreadsheets, organizes shared files, assists with data entry, collects facilitator feedback, prepares meeting agendas, and supports special projects as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
We need to keep the exact phrasing.
Now Minimum Education & Experience:
"High School diploma required Or equivalent combination of education and experienceRelated experience in administrative support, program coordination, event planning, higher education, student services, customer service, or related fields preferred.Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining records and databases, coordinating events, and managing communications is preferred."
Note there is missing space after "required". We'll preserve as is but maybe we can keep the text exactly; but we can format as a paragraph.
We could split into sentences for readability but must preserve all info. We'll keep as a paragraph.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
List of many items each ending with "preferred." We'll preserve each as list items.
We need to output HTML fragment only.
Let's construct:
