About the Role
Develop and coach site personnel on training systems to support a High-Performance Organization (HPO). This role supports the plant through the implementation of training and qualification processes, and the development of plant Education & Training (E&T) processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Education & Training Pillar, providing leadership toward the site vision for training systems and standards.
- Serve as the training resource and deliver Company-sponsored training (e.g., Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Train the Trainer).
- Partner with the business to conduct periodic training assessments and create plans to address skill gaps.
- Create and improve E&T processes and standards as needed.
- Monitor and maintain E&T standards across the site.
- Coordinate creation of training materials (Standard Operating Procedures, Step Up Cards, One Point Lessons, etc.).
- Monitor and support execution of the plant qualification process.
- Administer all applicable training grants.
- Support and coordinate internal, external, and corporate trainings, including technical classes.
- Own the framework of the Foundational Technical program and support content improvements.
- Administer and coach departments on Skill Matrices.
- Coach team trainers and managers on executing established systems and standards.
- Provide coaching and direction for group activities, including team building and system/program improvements.
- Align training systems with the plant pay and progression system, ensuring rigor and consistency.
- Support Operational Excellence (OpEx) efforts by providing training on OpEx and High-Performance Organization (HPO) tools.
- Support and model OpEx work system behaviors.
- Serve as the owner of Safety Key Element (KE) 6 and Quality Key Element (QAKE) KE 2.
- Develop and improve the onboarding curriculum and process for salaried and hourly personnel.
- Support the project leadership team in the development and execution of the Technology Training and Transfer (TT&T) plan.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least 2 years of manufacturing experience is required.
Preferred Skills
- Demonstrated experience with HPO is preferred.
- Ability to establish and sustain relationships across the organization.
- Must be able to prioritize work in a high-demand environment.
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Open to some travel (10-20%).
Pay
Colorado Specific Salary Range: $79,500 - $113,850
This role is eligible for the Annual Incentive Plan bonus.
