Responsibilities

  • Knowledge and understanding of construction process
  • Capable of juggling multiple priorities calmly and delivering on expected time lines
  • Collaborates with the overall project team to lead the F&B Project Team
  • Maintains the working environment, conducts safety inspections, ensures tools are in good condition
  • Preconstruction activities include: working with Project Manager, Consultants, and Design Team to develop and lead the scope of work, phasing plan/schedule, KAR Support Document Input (FSRA, PEP, Charter, Budget), Bid Process (Pre-Bid, BRFI, Post Bids, Develops temporary protection plan and site logistics plans, participates in constructability & V/E project reviews and manages submittal process.
  • Construction activities include: coordinating F&B construction activities including workers, materials, equipment, and meetings. Ensures project quality and compliance with project plans/specifications, client specifications /design standards, and sanitary design. Ensures project compliance with all client contractor work rules, OSHA 1910 General Industry, OSHA 1926 Construction Safety regulations, and contractor orientations.
  • Organizes final inspections, develops punch list, completes punch list items, follows up on warranty items, coordinates final health inspections, liquor license inspection, and assists in closeout documentation
  • Participates in project meetings as a leader, facilitator, mediator, or key contributor
  • Advises key stakeholders of unavoidable delays

Requirements

  • Strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Current on hospitality industry
  • 5+ years experience in construction with F&B Construction Management Experience
  • Strong Leadership skills
  • Strong sense of team
  • Strong sense of urgency and excellent follow up skills
  • Ability to be flexible and move directions quickly
  • Hightly motivated
  • Familiar with project completion of restaurant openings and health inspections
  • Knowledgeable with coffee/espresso systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to Travel
