About the role

The successful candidate will lead educational initiatives and support students at Brighton Centre of Deaf Education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
• Evaluate teaching methods and provide feedback to improve educational practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in deaf education.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a leadership role.
• Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Valid South Australian teacher registration.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using educational technology tools.
• Knowledge of South Australian education policies and procedures.
