About the role
Lead Young Toddler Teachers are responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children aged 18 months to 3 years. They plan and implement daily activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. The role involves observing children's progress, documenting observations, and collaborating with other educators to ensure consistent care and learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute age-appropriate curriculum for young toddlers
- Observe and document children's growth and development
- Collaborate with team members to provide consistent care and support
- Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- At least 2 years of experience working with young children
- Valid Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
- First Aid/CPR certification
