About the Role
Bechtel’s Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) Business Unit is designing, building, and commissioning a semiconductor fab in Clay, NY. Responsibilities
- Supervises project trainers and/or Workforce Development (WFD) administrator(s).
- Ensures that the training and assessment programs are consistent with the Craft Assessment Program (CAP) guidelines and procedures.
- Provides guidance to site management for training all levels of Craft Professionals, including apprentices, journeyman, foreman, and general foreman.
- Oversees/performs capability assessments via the CAP Program.
- Performs NCCER administration of the craft training and certification program on projects, ensuring strict compliance with NCCER regulations.
- Responsible for project training facility layout, resource allocation, set-up, and maintenance.
- May participate in the selection of evaluators/trainers.
- Coordinates and monitors classes, instructors, facilities, class times, participants (level), and instructor evaluations on each project.
- Collects, assembles, and analyzes training data and provides reports to site and WFD management regarding project training activities.
- Maintains data in relevant LR/WFD systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
- Proven ability to define goals and deliverables and implement key programs on time and within budget.
- Good analytical and strategic planning skills: able to prioritize, balance short and long-term priorities.
- Must possess mastery of one or more craft discipline skill sets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Competent use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Prior Labor Relations Workforce Development/Training experience required.
- Advanced understanding of NCCER or Union equivalent administration guidelines and certification program on projects.
- Advanced knowledge of project training facility layout, resource allocation, set-up, and maintenance.
- Intermediate knowledge of Bechtel’s Capability Assessment Program (CAP).
- Performs assessments and oversees evaluators administering CAP.

Pay
Salary range: $105,000 - $160,200 annually (based on market data; final salary offered is determined by education, experience, and qualifications of the applicant).
