Lead Welder

Lead Welder Location: Rogers, MN Shift: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay: $23-$30/hour DOE Employment Type: Full-Time | Overtime Available | Occasional Saturdays Required We are seeking an experienced Lead Welder to join a growing manufacturing team specializing in architectural metal products. This leadership role is responsible for supervising welding operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and producing high-quality aluminum and stainless-steel weldments. Key Responsibilities Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to weld aluminum and stainless steel components. Supervise welding projects and support fellow welders to ensure quality and productivity goals are achieved. Communicate regularly with the Plant Manager regarding welding priorities and project status. Verify that parts meet specifications before and after welding. Assist with assembly and fabrication of parts as needed. Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience welding aluminum and stainless steel. Strong MIG and TIG welding experience required. Ability to fabricate components from blueprints and specifications. Experience with rough grinding and DA (dual-action) sanding. Previous sheet metal industry experience preferred. Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation. Ability to accurately use calipers, squares, protractors, and other measuring tools. Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Strong communication and leadership skills. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Ability to work overtime as needed. Flexibility to assist with other shop duties based on production demands.
