About the Role

The Weekend Lead Concierge serves as the lead staff member for all communications, emergencies, and requests at the front desk on weekends. This role is the initial response to safety and security issues, ensuring the health and well-being of the community's residents. It requires exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to elevate concerns to appropriate team members as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all emergencies, communications, and visitor interactions during weekend shifts
  • Provide exceptional customer service while responding to all incoming communications and directing calls
  • Oversee all incoming alarms through the front desk system(s) and coordinate responses
  • Follow up with appropriate staff after emergencies, unusual events, missing items, or alleged thefts
  • Coordinate emergency response efforts, including directing emergency vehicles to the facility
  • Alert management staff when emergencies or unusual events require escalation
  • Provide Resident Information Forms, DNR details, and E-Clinical information to paramedics and medical transport
  • Use two-way radios to communicate with nursing, maintenance, and administration staff
  • Perform administrative duties using E-Clinical and other computer systems
  • Log keys in and out and account for residents using daily census and flipper sheets
  • Handle maintenance and housekeeping requests
  • Log packages and notify residents
  • Update the daily resident census
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
  • Apply postage and transmit fax messages for staff and residents
  • Assist residents with dry cleaning procedures
  • Schedule resident IT appointments and submit monthly logs to the Executive Director
  • Reserve conference rooms using Microsoft Outlook and perform other clerical duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Good communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment
  • Previous concierge/receptionist experience preferred
  • First Aid or medical training is a plus
  • Superior customer service and organizational skills
  • Exceptional telephone etiquette
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Working Conditions

  • Professional attire required
  • Fast-paced environment at times
  • Frequent communication with residents and families by phone or in person
  • Extended periods of sitting and talking on the telephone
  • Subject to frequent interruptions and emergency situations
  • Works in a clean, well-lighted, and well-ventilated area
  • Strong perfumes/aftershaves are prohibited
  • Shifts vary

Remote Type: On-site

Pay

$18.07 - $25.30 per hour
