About the role
The Lead Restoration Technician oversees and manages a crew, controls job costs and production times, ensures quality assurance, and acts as the primary customer contact for both commercial and residential divisions. The role includes responsibility for a company vehicle and all equipment. The Lead Technician is also a working Field Technician who performs water remediation projects under the supervision of the mitigation and project manager.
Responsibilities
- Manage production, including hands-on water damage cleanup work as required.
- Provide strong leadership to ensure successful, safe, timely, and profitable project delivery and completion.
- Manage documentation on projects (e.g., photos, contracts).
- Respond to emergency recovery situations 24/7 as needed.
- Work safely in a team environment and enforce all safety measures on job sites.
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in the restoration industry as a lead technician.
- Self-starter with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, neat appearance.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug test.
Qualifications
Candidates with certifications (WRT, AMRT, or related) pertaining to the scope of work are highly desired and will be strongly considered.
