Lead Warehouse/Inventory Control Representative

About the Role
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment, including warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management, demand, supply, and manufacturing planning.
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. The role also ensures the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to a variety of internal and external customers.
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates all facets of QIC (Quality Inventory Control) functionality, including:
- Completion of SOX Reporting requirements
- Participation in QA Events
- Reporting and resolution of Inbound and Outbound Discrepancies
- Processing of customer returns
- Providing error resolution
- Conducting Cycle Count Compliance
- Maintaining Warehouse Area (Out of Area, Out of Zone, 123 Report, Multi-SKU, etc.)
- Assisting with Profiling and Service Issues
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills
- 4+ years of experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good written communication skills
- Must be willing to travel as needed

Pay
Anticipated hourly range: $22.30 - $32.00 per hour based on experience. The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience, skills, and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
Schedule
Hours for this position are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (or working until the work is complete) Monday through Friday. Must be flexible to work overtime based on business needs.
