Lead Warehouse Clerk 2nd Shift

About the role

The Lead Warehouse Clerk – Assembly position at Smurfit Westrock is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor/Operations Manager in directing and managing warehouse functions including shipping, receiving products and materials, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Warehouse Clerk duties.
• Provide leadership to warehouse clerks and material handlers.
• Act as a liaison between warehouse and other departments, customers, and vendors.
• Troubleshoot issues and assist Supervisor with a resolution.
• Serve as a working leader; function as a Supervisor in the Supervisor’s absence.
• Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Overtime is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities. However, the position does provide leadership and direction to the warehouse clerks and material handlers.

Qualifications

Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
