About the role
This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.
Shift & Pay
- Shift: Sunday 4:00pm to completion, Monday – Thursday 5:00pm to completion
- Pay: Starting at $23.55 with potential for up to $30.30 based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses
- Sign-on bonus: $2,000
Responsibilities
- Processes inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse activities to support accurate product movement and effective order fulfillment.
- Prepares shipments, packaging materials, and staging areas to meet handling requirements and dispatch timelines.
- Reconciles inventory discrepancies, stock movements, and transaction variances to preserve inventory integrity.
- Monitors stock levels, storage conditions, and workflow status to identify replenishment needs and service risks.
- Investigates damaged shipments, handling issues, and process exceptions to determine causes and support timely resolution.
- Documents shipment status, inventory updates, and operational exceptions to maintain accurate warehouse visibility.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required. Associate's degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.
Skills
- Knowledge in warehouse operations across receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
- Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock reconciliation, and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge in shipment preparation, product handling, and storage condition requirements.
- Knowledge in warehouse documentation, record maintenance, and operational reporting.
- Knowledge in safety, loss prevention, and warehouse control practices.
- Ability to review and verify inventory, shipment, and operational data with accuracy.
- Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve routine and moderately complex operational issues.
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders on shipment status, stock issues, and operational requirements.
- Ability to organize work across shifting priorities and variable workload demands.
- Ability to support process consistency and continuous improvement within warehouse operations.
