About the role
The Lead Vulnerability Researcher is responsible for conducting advanced research on potential security vulnerabilities in software systems and networks. This individual will work closely with product development teams to identify, analyze, and mitigate these risks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of software systems and networks to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure security is integrated throughout the software lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging threats and technologies in cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in vulnerability research and mitigation.
- Experience working with various programming languages and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful vulnerability research projects.
- Experience with penetration testing and ethical hacking.
- Knowledge of common security protocols and standards.
