About the role
The Lead Vulnerability Researcher is responsible for conducting advanced research on security vulnerabilities in various systems and networks. This individual will work closely with product development teams to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential threats.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of software and hardware vulnerabilities
- Develop and maintain tools for vulnerability assessment
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security patches and mitigations
- Stay current with emerging security trends and technologies
- Write technical reports and presentations to communicate findings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in vulnerability research and threat analysis
- Experience with reverse engineering and penetration testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Qualifications
- Knowledge of common attack vectors and exploit techniques
- Experience with security frameworks and methodologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java
- Experience with network protocols and operating systems
- Understanding of cryptography and secure coding practices

$120,000 - $150,000 annually
