We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate lead veterinarian to join our team at Essex Animal Hospital in Bloomfield, NJ and contribute to our mission of providing outstanding veterinary care with a personal touch.

Responsibilities

  • Practice high-quality medicine with access to advanced diagnostics, dental care, surgery, and acupuncture all under one roof.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive veterinary experience.
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of New Jersey.
  • Experience with small animal internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and emergency medicine.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA accredited institution.
  • Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).
  • Experience with electronic medical records systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
