Responsibilities
- Aid in evaluating, analyzing, and executing capital markets transactions to secure adequate funding and maintain financial flexibility.
- This encompasses public and private debt issuances, convertible debt offerings, equity offerings, leasing, revolving lines of credit, term loans, surety bonds, and other financing activities.
- Maintain oversight of debt covenants, monitor interest expense, manage share repurchases, dividends, and investment portfolio performance, and assess hedging exposure.
- Offer strategic advice on investing excess cash in alignment with the company’s investment policy.
- Conduct research and analysis on corporate finance topics including capital structure, cost of capital, shareholder distributions, and rating agency frameworks.
- Create and deliver presentations for senior management and board members.
- Support risk management efforts by managing corporate insurance programs and executing foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate hedging transactions.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Seven or more years of relevant experience in treasury capital markets or corporate finance are preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and GAAP is essential.
- Excellent drafting and presentation skills are necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Suite is required.
- Ability to create financial models, forecasts, and analyses is crucial.
- Strong project management and attention to detail are important.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Experience working in a hybrid work model, with three days in either Mountain View or San Diego office, is required.
Pay
The expected base pay range for this position is:
- Mountain View: $162,500 - $219,500
- San Diego, CA: $149,500 - $202,500
