Lead Toddler Teacher- Monday/Wednesday Class

About This Role

Triple Learning Center in Farragut is seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to join our school family. The Lead Teacher is responsible for implementing a play-based curriculum, planning activities, and managing classroom operations. The role requires understanding children's development to create a safe and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Care for children's needs and provide a nurturing environment
• Maintain frequent communications with parents through various methods
• Communicate clear expectations and guidance to other staff
• Maintain accurate records and files
• Work collaboratively with an Assistant Teacher
• Ensure compliance with center policies and state regulations
• Maintain a healthy classroom environment
• Develop and implement educational curriculum based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Create individual and group activities to promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Work directly with an Assistant Teacher

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
• A strong understanding of child development (CDA or higher preferred but not required)
• Possess (or willingness to obtain) a current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification
• Must clear full background check and pass health screening
• Willingness to follow all TLC policies, including dress code, team philosophy, and punctuality

Schedule

The position is for a class that meets on Mondays and Wednesdays. Staff may work additional days by subbing for other staff members.
