Lead Toddler Teacher

About the role

We’re looking for Lead Teachers who love working with young children and want to be part of a supportive, close‑knit school community where teachers are valued and growth is encouraged here in Summerville, South Carolina.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:30 am–3:30 pm. No nights. No weekends.

Pay

$16–$17 per hour, based on education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a classroom using developmentally appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
• Create a warm, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Communicate with families using our parent app
• Observe, assess, and support each child’s development
• Maintain classroom organization, safety, and cleanliness
• Participate in conferences and collaborate with leadership

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher (required)
• At least 1 year of classroom experience in a licensed childcare center
• Infant experience is a plus (for infant classrooms)
• Ability to pass required background checks
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a genuine love for teaching
