Lead Test Technician
Shift: 1st shift, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities
- Assemble, inspect, identify and resolve issues in sophisticated electro-mechanical systems
- Set up, test, and pack final product
- Test final products for functionality or quality
- Identify and troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices or products
- Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements
- Demonstrate understanding of function and application of product
- Guide and train other technicians
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Ensure that quality standards are met
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in Electronics or Technology preferred
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in a cGMP environment
Desired Skills
- Appropriate visual acuity and hand/eye coordination to manipulate and test small, precision electronic units and mechanical assemblies
- Proficiency with standard electronic assembly and testing equipment including, but not limited to, soldering irons, multimeters, crimp tools, torque tools, etc.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
- Expertise using complex wiring schematics and assembly diagrams to diagnose and resolve functionality or performance issues with final product
- Proven experience testing and resolving problems in sophisticated electrical and mechanical components and systems
- Experience with optics including lasers, microscopes, and thermal imaging
- Familiarity with quality management systems and safety programs
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills
- Intermediate computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience in a regulated production environment; specifically following standard operating procedures and manufacturing schedules
- Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Fluency in English (speak, read, and write)
- Capable of lifting 35 pounds unassisted
- Capable of performing tasks while sitting, standing, or kneeling for periods of time
Pay
The hourly pay range for this position based in California is $30.70 – $46.04. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
