As a Lead Technician in our Test Department, you will collaborate with engineers to plan, set up, and execute tests on new power tool products, learn and apply new technologies, and develop and validate new testing methods.
Responsibilities
- Work with engineers to plan, set up, and execute tests on new power tool products.
- Learn and apply new technologies that support product development and testing.
- Collaborate with the team and engineers to develop and validate new testing methods.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret test data to identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Provide mentorship and training to technicians on test methods and best practices.
- Lead troubleshooting of complex technical problems and implement corrective actions.
- Support the Reliability team in creating and maintaining test procedures.
- Ensure lab processes, equipment use, and documentation meet safety and quality standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant hands-on test lab or product development experience with advanced skills across test processes, procedures, and systems.
- Strong problem-solving ability, capable of analyzing complex data and resolving issues.
- Knowledge and experience with lab test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems.
- Skilled communicator, able to clearly convey technical findings and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $63,700.00 - $102,600.00 annually. The salary offered may vary based on job level, geographic location, experience, and qualifications. Eligible for annual merit increases.
