Lead Test Engineer

About the role

The Test Lead will oversee the software verification and validation process for JPES/JCRM using agile methodologies. Key responsibilities include leading testing efforts, maintaining test strategy and plans, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring release readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test strategy and plans
• Lead functional, regression, integration, performance, and operational testing
• Maintain requirements-to-test traceability
• Coordinate CIT and GAT support
• Lead defect management and verification
• Support UFL/UAT and user-validation events
• Collaborate with development, integration, cyber, infrastructure, and Government stakeholders
• Affirm release readiness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
• Four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Eight or more years of software testing/QA experience
• Demonstrated test leadership
• Experience developing test plans and strategies
• Agile software-testing experience
• Requirements/test traceability experience
• Defect-management experience
• U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance required

Preferred

• DoD CIT/GAT experience
• Automated testing experience
• Experience with mission-critical/classified systems
• JPES/JCRM/JOPES experience

Pay

$130,000 - $160,000
