Lead Test Engineer
About the role
AnaVation is seeking an experienced Lead Test Engineer to join our high-performing technical team. The successful candidate will be a multidisciplinary engineer responsible for developing and maintaining test plans and the associated test environment. This position will eventually be on-site with our customer in Huntsville, Alabama; remote work is available until the space is ready. Applicants who do not currently reside within commuting distance to Huntsville should describe how they would satisfy this requirement.
This position requires an existing Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph.
Responsibilities
- Write comprehensive test plans
- Perform thorough testing according to best practices (integration, regression, and unit testing)
- Record all details relevant to testing and outcomes
- Maintain a library of completed tests based on lessons learned
- Create a library of test plans
- Assist with release notes to ensure all details of new features are conveyed
- Monitor release pipelines to ensure products are fully tested and comply with goals and objectives
- Interface daily with key government personnel and team members
- Create actionable tickets so developers can easily locate problems
Requirements
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field, plus a minimum of one year of related experience developing and executing test plans in a high-demand production environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate successfully on-site with our customer and team in a fast-paced operational environment
- Experience providing on-site support in a federal government environment (strong plus)
- Existing Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph
