Lead Technician - Supply Chain

Responsibilities

• Assists the department coordinator in prioritizing and coordinating work assignments.
• Assumes supervisory responsibility in the absence of the department coordinator.
• Provides on-going and new staff training to their shift.
• Calls in when away from department to facilitate customer requests and questions from employees.
• Performs or supervises the data entry for patient supply and equipment charging.
• Distributes workload of replenishment as needed based on employees and census.
• Captures unusual variances during charge shift such as department operations, distribution problems, Materials Management policy compliance, stock outs, etc.
• Notifies Supply Chain Supervisor of variances happening after normal work hours.
• Performs all functions of Supply Chain Technician position.
• Implements training program established by and in conjunction with the Supply Chain Supervisor.
• Maintains staffing patterns and shift schedules established by the Supply Chain supervisor.
• Conducts shift changeover briefings to insure continuity of service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year supply chain experience required.
• 2 years supply chain experience preferred.
