Responsibilities
- Assists the department coordinator in prioritizing and coordinating work assignments.
- Assumes supervisory responsibility in the absence of the department coordinator.
- Provides on-going and new staff training to their shift.
- Calls in when away from department to facilitate customer requests and questions from employees.
- Performs or supervises the data entry for patient supply and equipment charging.
- Distributes workload of replenishment as needed based on employees and census.
- Captures unusual variances during charge shift such as department operations, distribution problems, Materials Management policy compliance, stock outs, etc.
- Notifies Supply Chain Supervisor of variances happening after normal work hours.
- Performs all functions of Supply Chain Technician position.
- Implements training program established by and in conjunction with the Supply Chain Supervisor.
- Maintains staffing patterns and shift schedules established by the Supply Chain supervisor.
- Conducts shift changeover briefings to insure continuity of service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year supply chain experience required.
- 2 years supply chain experience preferred.
