About the role
The Supply Technician at Tessera is responsible for managing shop stores, ensuring inventory levels are optimized, and maintaining safety data sheets and inventory of hazardous chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Optimize and manage inventory levels, reorder, receive, stock, issue, transfer, and conduct physical counts of shop stores.
- Ensure tools and materials are in good condition and accountable, including contractor and government-owned items.
- Inspect received items and maintain digital and paper records of all transactions.
- Issue and track tools and materials issued to and returned by workers.
- Prepare periodic inventory reports and keep stock records using Maximo and iPads.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets and safeguard hazardous chemicals.
- Conduct material kitting and prepare planned material issues and staging.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree preferred.
- Three (3) years of inventory and purchasing experience preferred.
- Material handling equipment experience, such as forklift certificate, is preferred.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CAC system clearances.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
- Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
- Perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
- A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
- Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.

Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $11.28 per hour.
