Lead Technician Level I (NC)

Responsibilities

• Pull cable, rough in, install conduit, and terminate cables at devices and headends.
• Identify and address issues related to timelines and project progress, communicating with supervisors as needed.
• Stay updated on new services, technologies, and internal processes/procedures.
• Install commercial access control, video systems, low voltage, and commercial wiring/cabling.
• Comply with building, fire, and life safety codes.
• Use digital volt meters and demonstrate knowledge of AC/DC theory, series and parallel circuits, open/close loops.
• Work with IP, Ethernet, and networking protocols and CAT5 technologies.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience installing commercial access control, video systems, low voltage, and commercial wiring/cabling.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Technical/Trade/Vocational school certificate in electronics/electrical.
• Knowledge of building, fire, and life safety codes.
• Strong electronics knowledge and ability to use digital volt meters.
• Experience with IP, Ethernet, and networking protocols and CAT5 technologies.

Qualifications

Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and criminal background check.
