About the role
As a Road Lead Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair equipment, including diesel engines, electric motors, transmissions, drive axles, differentials, hydraulic systems, brake systems, steering systems, electrical systems, lifting systems, and both in the field and in the shop.
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and failure analysis to ensure equipment meets manufacturer and safety standards.
- Work safely every day by following Briggs, OSHA, DOT, and customer safety requirements, and help lead a Safety-First culture.
- Document work accurately, manage parts and tools, and maintain a clean, safe company service vehicle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience repairing medium to heavy-duty vehicle/industrial forklift repairs, including PMs, troubleshooting, computer diagnostics, brake systems, fuel systems, engine/powertrain components, aftertreatments, transmissions, and tire/wheel.
- A high school diploma or GED, with trade school, certifications, welding/fabrication experience a plus.
- The ability to read precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges.
- A valid driver's license, your own tools, and the ability to work on-call and travel daily to customer sites.

Skills
