Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services

Position Summary

In this year-round role, you'll lead a team of exterior service technicians, working in partnership to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in commercial landscape management and exterior building/grounds maintenance will be instrumental in maintaining our exterior spaces, fostering a safe and clean environment for our valued customers.

What you'll do...

• Lead a team of exterior service technicians
• Facilitate on-the-job training on processes, equipment usage, and asset safety practices
• Manage landscaping tasks such as cutting grass, weed management, and other landscaping tasks
• Perform irrigation, pressure washing, and exterior building/grounds maintenance
• Provide customer service and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics, integrity, and safety

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in the commercial landscaping/exterior building maintenance and leading teams
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to facilitate on-the-job training
• Proficiency in utilizing technology for work order management and record-keeping
• Willingness and ability to perform landscaping tasks with or without the use of specialized equipment
• Knowledge of planting, pruning techniques, and pest/disease management through chemical applications
• Experience in commercial exterior maintenance including irrigation, pressure washing, and exterior building/grounds maintenance
• A strong customer service orientation with the ability to troubleshoot and prioritize work
• A commitment to upholding company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics, integrity, and safety
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Hold a valid, state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report

Preferred Qualifications

• An associate’s degree in horticulture or related area
• Certified nursery and/or landscape professional
• Intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software
• Landscaping/gardening crew leader or supervisor
• Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish
• State/local licensing where required
