Requirements

• High school diploma (or GED)
• Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units
• Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity
• 2-5 years of commercial and/or residential restoration experience is required
• IICRC water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation certification are all highly preferred
• 2-5 years of floor cleaning experience and/or some form of specialty cleaning (i.e. Stripping & Waxing Commercial Space Flooring, Air Duct Cleaning, Tile and Grout Cleaning, Upholstery Cleaning, etc.) is highly preferred
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environments
• Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts
• Willingness to learn and work with the newest equipment and technology in the industry
• Willingness to hold self and others accountable for maintaining company standards

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-5 years of commercial and/or residential restoration experience
• Technical Skills: Adequate math skills, basic proficiency in computer use, ability to apply learned techniques, familiarity with various cleaning methods
• Equipment Familiarity: Basic proficiency in using computers, email, and portable devices, knowledge of cleaning equipment and technologies
• Industry Certifications: IICRC water, fire, smoke, and mold remediation certification, and possibly other certifications like WRT, AMRT, ASD, MRS, FSRT
• Physical Demands: Comfortable working in fast-paced, sometimes physically demanding environments
• Work Hours: Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts
• Learning and Adaptation: Willingness to learn and adapt to the newest equipment and technology in the industry
• Professionalism: Willingness to hold oneself and others accountable for maintaining company standards

Pay

Compensation levels will reflect the experience level of the technician. Hourly rate increases as experience and certifications are gained in water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos certifications are added.

KPI-based bonuses and commissions can also be earned on top of hourly rate.
