Lead Technical Software Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead solution designs for complex domains, mentoring junior technical architects
• Create and maintain architecture artifacts, including HLDs and sequence diagrams
• Assess design trade-offs considering latency, throughput, and call types
• Oversee cross-cutting concerns like identity management, API platform, and security
• Make pivotal build/buy decisions through product evaluations and POCs
• Govern design reviews and document technical risks and decisions
• Establish enterprise architecture standards and enforce them across projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in architecture design for large-scale transformations
• Broad experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly with AI/ML
• Expertise in API management, microservices, and distributed systems architecture
• Familiarity with tools and practices such as Salesforce, FACETS, ServiceNow, Snowflake, etc.
• Strong communication skills for conveying complex technical ideas clearly
• Prominent ability to lead digital transformation initiatives and align tech strategy with business goals
