About the Role

This first-shift position (Mon-Fri, 7:00 am–3:30 pm) involves performing technical tasks based on written or verbal instructions, utilizing microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting, calibration, or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software.
  • Participate on and/or lead project teams, applying technical expertise in evaluation, development, maintenance, and use of complex products, devices, tests, or procedures under changing conditions.
  • Design simple circuits, fixtures, or mechanical parts and provide technical solutions to engineering challenges.
  • Support manufacturing activities by resolving production problems, fabricating complex hardware, and training team members.
  • Self-manage workflow with minimal guidance to achieve team goals.
  • Identify and correct minor process, material, design, or equipment issues.
  • Actively participate in material review activities, including troubleshooting non-conformances.
  • Perform mid-level testing or mechanical operations on production/repair hardware, troubleshooting to the component level.
  • Provide skill-specific training to improve technique and understanding of theory of operation.
  • Fabricate complex equipment, hardware, or prototypes.
  • Generate reports from test results, communicate findings, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Write test procedures and manufacturing work instructions for complex or detailed assembly or test operations.
  • Utilize multiple databases to create and manage information for decision-making.
  • Manage technical assets, including requisitioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting tools, fixtures, software, and equipment.
  • Participate in safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post-high school training) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting and interpreting schematics.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet customer KPIs.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, professional journals, or governmental regulations.
  • Production assembly and inspection experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an aerospace or similar industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Experience dispositioning with SAP.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft tools.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $60,000 – $114,000 USD. The range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Factors considered include role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Schedule

First shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm.
