Lead Teacher, Tutor Time of Pleasantville

About the role

We’re hiring energetic, dependable, passionate Lead Teachers who will inspire children to become lifelong learners. As a Lead Teacher, you’ll create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers, promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, and build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families.

Responsibilities

• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Be an expert on all licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Pay

$19.67 – $20.44 hourly; bi-weekly and daily pay options; based on position, education, and experience.

Schedule

Monday–Friday work week.
