Assistant Teacher, Tutor Time of Pleasantville

About the role

This position involves assisting teachers in the daily care and education of children. The Assistant Teacher will follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the safety and well-being of each child.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Requirements

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children preferred but not required.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Ability to maintain a positive and engaging environment for children.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and policies.

Pay

$17.51- $18.19 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience
