About the role
Lead Teacher - PRE-K Counts Program - 2 positions different locations.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children.
- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Assess children’s progress and communicate with parents about their child’s development.
- Adapt teaching methods based on children's interests and needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with young children.
- Valid state teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Experience with early childhood education programs.
- Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
- Salary range: $35,000 - $45,000 annually.
