About the role

Lead Teacher - PRE-K Counts Program - 2 positions different locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children.
• Provide individualized attention to each child to support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Assess children’s progress and communicate with parents about their child’s development.
• Adapt teaching methods based on children's interests and needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working with young children.
• Valid state teaching license or ability to obtain one within six months.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with early childhood education programs.
• Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
