Lead Teacher, Montessori Unlimited of Cypress

About the role

As a Lead Teacher at our Montessori school, you’ll create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers. You’ll promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. Building sincere relationships with families will support both child achievement and the center’s success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging, Montessori-aligned lesson plans and learning experiences.
• Lead classroom activities, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
• Mentor and guide fellow teachers in implementing the Montessori Method.
• Foster children’s social, physical, and intellectual development through hands-on, child-centered activities.
• Manage classroom operations, including adherence to licensing guidelines and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with families—both enrolled and prospective—to support student success and center growth.
• Engage in physical activities with children, both indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and childcare center requirements for education and certification.
• Willingness and ability to engage in physical activity with children, both indoors and outdoors.
