Lead Teacher- Lil Coasters Childcare Associate, Mount Pleasant Campus

About the Role

Seacoast Church is seeking a Lead Teacher for two-year-olds at our Mount Pleasant Campus. This full-time position (30 hours weekly, Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm) reports to the Lil Coasters & MTP Childcare Manager. The Lil Coasters Team provides a safe, nurturing environment for staff children, teaching them about Jesus' love, foundational preschool concepts, and fostering social skills and friendships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety and security of children
• Act as a positive role model, treating each child with dignity and respect
• Engage children in activities like Bible story time, crafts, worship songs, free play, and games
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment, following safety policies
• Report concerns about child or parent behaviors to the Childcare Coordinator
• Greet parents and build trusting relationships with children and families
• Thoroughly clean and sanitize toys, furniture, and floors after use

Requirements

• Christ Follower (aligned with Seacoast Church's faith and beliefs)
• Previous experience working with children preferred
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays
• Passion for caring for children and relating well to both kids and adults
• Ability to lift, hold, and carry up to 30 lbs
• Skill in handling stressful situations appropriately
