Lead Systems Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Cook up RFI/RFP responses including ownership of financial estimates, SOW and spec compliance matrices, and technical volume
• Cook up and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
• Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in the aerospace industry
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience in risk management and problem-solving
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline
