Key Responsibilities
- Lead furniture installation, reconfiguration, and repair projects.
- Interpret furniture installation drawings and specifications.
- Cookordinate installation schedules, punch lists, and project execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for installation contractors and project teams.
- Manage furniture staging areas and installation inventory.
- Provide quality control oversight for furniture installation projects.
- Cookordinate workstation key and lock installation, removal, replacement, and inventory management.
- Support office moves, relocations, and workspace reconfigurations.
- Ensure proper disposal, recycling, repurposing, and buy-back activities for excess furniture.
- Work closely with Space Planners and end users to ensure accurate installations.
- Retrieve furniture products and verify material availability before installations.
- Train and guide junior installers during project execution.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure proper material handling procedures are followed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive experience installing, reconfiguring, and repairing modular office furniture systems.
- Expert knowledge of Herman Miller Action Office Two (AO2) and Canvas product lines.
- Expert knowledge of Allsteel Strive and Steelcase Answers furniture systems.
- Experience with KI Genius systems and Steelcase demountable glass wall partitions.
- Furniture repair experience.
- Warehouse and inventory management experience related to systems furniture.
- Experience moving furniture, office equipment, boxes, and crates.
- Demonstrated project leadership experience, including planning and execution of installation projects.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of proper storage, handling, and workplace safety procedures.
