About the Role
The Electronic Warfare & Airborne Sensors Department is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to support and expand our Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SETC) organization. In this role, you will provide technical leadership across multiple engineering disciplines, driving coordinated and efficient execution to achieve program objectives. You will partner closely with program management, cross-functional engineering teams, supply chain, and customer stakeholders to develop tailored engineering solutions that enable unique and critical mission outcomes. You will play a key role in shaping system architectures, guiding technical decision-making, and ensuring alignment across the entire program lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Systems Engineering focal point for the program
- Support program and customer success through cross-functional collaboration
- Provide leadership for engineering execution, influencing priorities and direction
- Participate in customer technical discussions to understand needs and shape future efforts
- Review technical baselines and ensure alignment with program phase requirements
- Contribute to engineering risk mitigations, opportunity assessments, and execution alignment
- Assist with Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) and ad hoc technical reviews
- Provide engineering inputs to Estimates at Completion (EACs)
- Identify staffing needs and ensure the program has appropriate technical skillsets
- Support adherence to engineering processes, procedures, and contractual requirements
- Lead or participate in engineering reviews and customer technical meetings
- Ensure thorough FRACA implementation and timely technical issue resolution
- Contribute to innovation initiatives and technical roadmap development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (preferably Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Physics)
- 10+ years of relevant systems engineering experience
- Experience with EW/Radar system development, including requirements decomposition, architecture definition, and system-level integration & verification planning
- Prior experience as Lead Systems Engineer, IPT Lead, or Program Systems Lead Engineer
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
- Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance
- Cost Account Management, schedule risk assessments, and sales forecasting
- Experience with DoD System Safety programs (MIL-STD-882 / DO-178)
- Experience with MBSE, Azure DevOps, Cameo, DOORS, and Microsoft Suite tools

Pay
The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
