Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering efforts for new development, production, and sustainment programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Translate complex customer and operational needs into precise system performance requirements.
• Guide cross-functional teams in defining and maintaining system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification criteria.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses in areas such as affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, and human factors.
• Oversee design reviews and technical assessments, providing recommendations to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Drive the implementation and adoption of cutting-edge Systems Engineering methodologies, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of related engineering experience, with a strong background in Systems Engineering.
• Proven leadership experience, including leading projects, teams, or technical initiatives.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, requiring U.S. Citizenship.

Skills

• Expertise in system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo or SysML-compatible software is highly preferred.
