Lead Surg Tech-Specialty Coord
About the role
Responsible for scrubbing, providing clinical expertise, guidance, and mentoring of team members within assigned surgical specialties while optimizing available resources to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Within Sterile Processing, the role is responsible for cleaning, decontamination, and reprocessing instrumentation, and case preparation regarding supplies and instrumentation.
Requirements
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Graduation from an approved Surgical Technology Program, Certification from a Military Program, or Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (RN/LPN)
- Certification in the field of Surgical Technologist required
- Minimum of two years within the surgical arena and surgical services experience in multiple specialties
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required
- Minimum of 8 years within a Sterile Processing department is preferred
Pay
Pay range begins at $30.00 per hour.
Schedule
- Day Shift
- 4 - 9hr shifts (Monday–Friday)
- Rotating weekends
- On-call required
