Lead Structural Engineer
Responsibilities
- Oversight of complex building projects
- Ensuring structural integrity and compliance with industry standards
- Development of detailed models and drawings in AutoCAD and Revit
- Reviewing shop drawings and submittals
- Providing technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle
- Conducting on-site assessments and monitoring construction activities
- Resolving field issues to maintain quality and schedule
- Collaborating with architects, clients, and project teams
Requirements
- Experience leading a team
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- PE (Professional Engineer) license
- Expertise in structural engineering, structural design, and structural analysis
- Knowledge of concrete and steel design
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in civil engineering
- Familiarity with structural steel and concrete design
Work Environment
The position is based in a new office space in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. The environment offers the opportunity to start up and lead a structural team for a well-known Midwest firm. Collaboration with other structural partners is encouraged, with partners located in Columbus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $55.00/hr.
