Job Summary

As a Lead Central Sterile Technician, you’ll help deliver safe, high‑quality care by ensuring surgical instruments and supplies are expertly cleaned, sterilized, and ready to use. With strong attention to detail and by leading through example, you’ll help create a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement that drives excellent outcomes and improves lives every day.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, cleaning, and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring all items are properly cleaned and ready for use.
• Organize instruments and equipment based on surgery schedules and special case needs.
• Monitor sterilization processes and equipment performance, keep accurate records, and promptly report any issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workspace that supports the team and upholds the highest infection control standards.
• Train and support team members to work safely, follow best practices, and care for every patient like family.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED.
• Graduate from a sterile processing tech program (required).
• At least 1 year of experience as a lead sterile processing technician (required).

Schedule

Days rotating weekends, Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00. On‑call and holiday call requirements.
