Lead SQL Database Developer
About the role
This individual will play a key role in the company’s SQL Server environment, partnering closely with development teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable and maintainable data solutions aligned with long-term technology goals.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex T-SQL objects including stored procedures, functions, and views
- Develop and support SSIS packages, ETL processes, and data integrations
- Troubleshoot database performance, reliability, and scalability issues
- Translate business requirements into technical database and integration solutions
- Lead database-focused development efforts and provide mentorship to other developers
- Establish and promote development standards, best practices, and reusable design patterns
- Review database designs and code to ensure consistency, quality, and maintainability
- Collaborate with technical and business teams on data architecture and system integration initiatives
- Support secure data handling and enterprise compliance standards
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSIS
Experience designing and supporting enterprise-level database and ETL solutions
Background serving as a technical lead, senior developer, or mentor
Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and integration architecture
Ability to troubleshoot complex data and performance challenges
Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship
