About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Engineer to provide support for the Palladium Cloud environment. In this role, you will be the primary interface for customers and the account team to resolve critical issues. You will develop automation and AI tools that will evolve and improve network services and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary support to customers and account teams to resolve critical issues.
  • Manage network and compute configurations.
  • Develop resilient compute architectures ensuring optimal user experience and fault tolerance.
  • Develop automation and AI tools to enable scalability in compute, network, and storage deployment.
  • Deliver expert-level troubleshooting for complex cloud environments.
  • Perform capacity planning to meet growing customer demand.
  • Design and manage network services such as LDAP, Proxmux, and Imaging.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve critical production incidents.
  • Produce work breakdown structures and migration plans that minimize service disruption.
  • Build lab simulations to test architecture designs and troubleshoot compatibility issues.
  • Drive cloud infrastructure initiatives, including deployment, migration, and operational best practices.
  • Engage in incident management, problem management, and continuous service improvement activities.
  • Document technical solutions, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices for internal and customer use.

Requirements

  • Proven experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise Linux environments across large-scale customer deployments.
  • Expertise in Linux, AWS Cloud, LDAP, SSSD, PAM, Slurm, LSF, HPC, Root Cause Analysis, Customer Support, Infrastructure Management, Performance Tuning, Identity Management, Monitoring & Observability.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for resolving highly complex network and compute issues.
  • Hands-on experience building lab simulations to test architecture designs and troubleshoot compatibility issues.
  • Experience with incident management, problem management, and continuous service improvement activities.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, creativity, and proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • 3-5+ years of progressive network engineering and architecture experience in enterprise environments.

Pay

The annual salary range for California is $114,800 to $213,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
