Lead Solution Engineer

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success as the technical expert
• Drive new logo acquisition and upsell in enterprise accounts
• Navigate extensive sales cycles with high-level stakeholders
• Demonstrate the Gong platform and ensure optimal customer use
• Assist in business assessments and solution delivery for customers
• Create content highlighting Gong's capabilities for various use cases
• Contribute to cross-functional teams to streamline deal closures

Requirements

• 8+ years of customer-facing experience in solution engineering or related fields
• Proven track record of closing six-figure deals in complex sales cycles
• Familiarity with sales technology such as CRMs and cloud architecture
• Knowledge of data flows, AI, ML concepts, and APIs is beneficial
• Understanding of security and privacy issues in SaaS systems
• Strong understanding of sales personas and GTM workflows
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay

$213,000 – $250,000 annually
