Key job responsibilities
- Maintain configuration control and monitor health of automated equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose failures of automated equipment
- Gather data and communicate during equipment downtime
- Perform preventative maintenance activities on equipment
- Drive machine operation process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory
- Follow work instructions and safety procedures
- Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
- Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
- Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc)
Additional Requirements
- Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times are Wed-Sat, 4X10 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Able to lift-up to 25lbs. unassisted
Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
Export Control Requirement
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Basic Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation
- 2+ years of operating and/or maintaining high volume manufacturing equipment
- 2+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches, feeler gages, gage blocks)
- Experience of ownership of the performance and health of automated processes
- Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings
- Ability to gather and analyze data to support root cause diagnosis
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation
- 4+ years of operating and/or maintaining high volume manufacturing equipment
- 4+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., Calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches, feeler gages, gage blocks)
- Experience in the aerospace industry, automotive industry, medical device industry, aviation, military or other high-reliability operating environment
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements
- Experience working with Electro-Mechanical Assembly
