Lead Software Engineer - Partitioning and Optimization Algorithms
About the role
The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for development of new features and algorithms to improve the Protium Platform mainly in partitioning and optimization algorithms. The candidate will work closely with the team spread across different geographies, discussing implementation specifications, and collaborating with technical support leads and key customers to resolve implementation or usage issues.
Responsibilities
- Develop new features and algorithms to enhance the Protium Platform, focusing on partitioning and optimization.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of related experience, or Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or PhD with a minimum of 0 years of related experience.
- Ideal candidate should have coursework in Algorithms, Data Structures, etc.
- Strong coding skills in C++, proficiency in at least one scripting language like Perl and Python.
Qualifications
- Experience with FPGA-based prototyping systems and hardware emulation technologies.
- Knowledge of industry-standard prototyping tools and methodologies.
- Experience with software development in C++ and scripting languages like Perl and Python.
- Ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment.
Skills

Pay
The annual salary range for California is $114,800 to $213,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits.
