Responsibilities

  • Transform how claims professionals manage their daily work by helping them prioritize the right work at the right time, improve customer outcomes, and manage claims proactively through modern, intuitive technology.
  • Support an architecture that includes Python-based AWS Lambda functions, Java Spring Boot APIs, and a React user interface, while helping evolve selected capabilities into containerized, cloud-native services.
  • Identify practical and responsible uses for generative AI and AI agents, including intelligent automation, improved testing, developer productivity, and new product capabilities.
  • Own complex solutions from design through production, mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and collaborate across product, business, and technology teams to scale the platform.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience with generative AI tools and AI agents, along with the creativity to identify responsible opportunities in software delivery, automation, testing, or product capabilities.
  • Strong Java, Spring Boot, and API development experience for building, integrating, and supporting backend services.
  • AWS cloud development experience, including Python and serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda.
  • React or Angular front-end development experience, including TypeScript and API integration.
  • Cloud-native and container-based application experience, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift, with an interest in learning or applying Go to modernization efforts.
